Rival is a competitive intelligence tool for marketers, UX researchers, and entrepreneurs. The platform captures changes on websites across many different areas of business. A registered user can create a list of websites they want to follow, where they can track and monitor every change made by their competition. These include launching new products, updates on forums, new blog posts and changes in key people. The project was launched on Amazon cloud and is based on AWS Lambda, DynamoDB linked with Heroku hosted websites via API.
